With less than 24 hours left before eligible voters file out to cast their votes, the Igalamela/Odolu chairmanship candidate of the APC, Hon. Onoja James Omachonu, has appealed to political parties, supporters, voters and the general public to avoid actions that are capable of disturbing peace and harmony in the build up to Saturday’s local government council polls.

He applauded the people of the area for being law abiding during the campaign periods and encouraged them to turn out massively and vote peacefully.

“Igalamela/Odolu has been a shining frontier of peace throughout the electoral process. We must ensure that the invaluable peace and harmony in the local government is sustained beyond the 2020 election.

“We should endeavour to conduct our selves in a civil manner and be exemplary in maintaining peace, love and unity so as to ensure sure is free, fair and credible election in our local government,” he stated.
