The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), Hon. Haliru Ali Abdul has stated that the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) remains the only platform for positive change in Nigeria.
Hon. Ali declared that since the party came to power 16 years ago, it has done wonderfully well in all the sectors, stressing that the party has a lot to showcase while the opposition as usual, has a lot to talk about
The Special Adviser who disclosed this in an interview with The Graphic in his office recently stated that the present administration has done more than expected in education, health care, agriculture, electricity, road, railway among others in the history of this country.
He disclosed that PDP at the state and federal level have done well, stressing that Nigerians need to vote massively for PDP in the next elections.
He pointed out that the Ajaokuta Steel plant that had been in the doldrums for the past 20 years is now at an advanced stage of resuscitation, just as he disclosed that Nigeria is the largest economy in African, courtesy of PDP –led administration.
The MDGs boss cautioned Nigerians to beware of the clamour for change, stressing that the dwindling global economy cannot be overcome in a day.
He further said that those clamouring for change were former members of PDP who left the party and regroup out of selfish interest.
