Senator Ahmed Ogembe, representing Kogi Central senatorial district has congratulated Engineer Ismaila Abdul Aka’aba on his appointment as the sole administrator of Ajaokuta Steel Company.
In a statement from his media office in Abuja, Senator Ogembe described the appointment of Engineer Aka’aba as a welcome development in the effort to revitalize Ajaokuta and turn around the fortune of the moribund steel company.
He expressed confidence in the ability of Mr Aka’aba to bring on board his wide range of contacts and expertise to restore the lost glory of the largest steel industry in sub Saharan Africa
The Senator described the new sole administrator of Ajaokuta as a man with the right will, whose intellectual capacity will cause positive turnaround of the company in coming months.
The senator promised to work with the administrator by deploying the instrumentality of his office in ensuring that Ajaokuta come back to life again.
Ogembe therefore enjoin Mr Aka’aba not to hesitate to call on him when the need arises as he is ready to get up anytime in the interest of the steel company and his people.
The senator urged the sole administrator to discharge his duties effectively and efficiently to the admiration of all Nigerians.
