Kogi Rescue Mission (KRM) has called on the former Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Jibrin Usman, to listen to the voice of the suffering masses in Kogi state and join the November governorship race.
In an Easter message signed by KRM’s coordinator, Alaba Medaiyedu, the group called on Admiral Jibrin to consider the plight of Kogi workers and pensioners and to succumb to the pressure on him to contest the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
“We cannot afford to make another mistake in November by allowing the continuity of the present accidental discharged administration in the state.
“Admiral Jibrin Usman is a man with capacity and competence. His humanitarian activities and community development efforts during his time as the chief of Naval Staff will be brought to bear in the development of Kogi state,” he said.
He congratulated Christians in Kogi state on the occasion of the Easter celebrations and urged them to reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to live with one another in peace, love and harmony.
