Kogi-born Nollywood actor and film maker, Ohieku James Evemanyi, has called for the establishment of Kogi Television.

In a short video, Ohieku, popularly known as James Hero, said the station is long overdue.

James Hero said the best way to project the image of Kogi is by telling the story of the State through its own media.

According to him, the state is rich in culture, traditions and natural resources, pointing out that Kogi must market itself to the entire world via Kogi State Television.

He stated that the State is also blessed with talents in the movie and music industries, noting that their voice is yet to be heard across the world.

James Hero urged the State Government to take proactive measures to ensure that the TV Station is established in no distant time, saying the station must be done in a way that it will compete favourably with African Magic channels.
