Nigeria’s Unity: Achuba Commends The Church for Intercession

Kogi state Deputy Governor,  Elder Simon Achuba has commended the church and other religious bodies across the country for their continuous intercession and prayers for the unity of the country.
Elder Achuba who gave the commendation at the Burial Service of Late Mrs Margaret Nwayeju Egwuche at the United Evangelical Church in Idah today said the prayers of the church and other religious bodies have continued to unite the country and the people,  urging them to maintain the temple.
The Deputy Governor enjoined Christians to adjust their ways and serve God in totality, saying “knowing God is more than anything in life. Let us serve Him with all that we have for more blessings, success, progress and peace”.
He described the late Mrs Egwuche as a believer of what is just and right in the sight of God and urged the children and those she left behind to emulate the good work.
On his part, the Administrator of Ibaji local government area, Hon. Thomas Offor enjoined  the family of late Mrs Egwuche to consider the death of Mrs Egwuche as an act of God while praying God to fill the vacuum the late icon has left in the family.
Earlier in his sermon, Pastor John Edinor said no achievement in life is more than living a Godly life, urging Christians to always do good and show love to their neighbours
He said, “it is a great gain dying in Christ” while urging Christians to serve God in totality.
