The Galadima Ankpa kingdom, Hon Yakub Yakub has called on his people and the entire people of Kogi state to remain peaceful and united in the course of developing the state irrespective of ethnic or party differences in the New Year.
The young Prince, in his new year message, felicitated with Kogites, most especially the people of Ankpa kingdom and expressed gratitude to God for His protection and grace to witness the year 2020.
“Praying for unity and peace in the state is a task we must all put into consideration. We can only have sustainable development in the state if only we are peaceful and united.
“I am very optimistic that if we capture the support of our youths, leaders, the legislature, the judiciary, the civil service, government appointees, agencies of government, both at the federal and the state levels, then the peace and unity we seek will be lying at our abode.
“I wish you all the best and a prosperous Happy New Year,” he said.
