The new Oba of Kakun-Kabba, Chief Obaromi Sunday, who is also the Obagbakunro of Kabba, has expressed gratitude to the executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for confirming him as the new Oba of Kakun.
The traditional ruler made this known while reacting to the announcement of his appointment as the new Oba of Kakun-Kabba during a press briefing.
The traditional ruler also thanked the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman Okun Area Traditional Council, HRM, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi for his role in making sure that he emerged as the new Oba of Kakun.
Oba Obaromi also thanked the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, the Secretary to the state government, the Okun Area Traditional Council and the good people of Kakun – Kabba for their support, encouragement and love they shown to him that made him to emerged as the Oba of Kakun-Kabba.
The traditional ruler used the medium to congratulate the Governor of Kogi State and and his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja on their re-election as the Governor and Deputy Governor respectively. He promised the Governor to use his good office to support his programmes and policies for the overall development of Kogi state.
He appealed to the people of Kogi State to continue to support and pray for the State Governor and all the people in position of authority for more gains of democracy.
Oba Obaromi Sunday wished all Kogites a prosperous 2020.
