Former Kogi state lawmaker, Simon Atadoga has commended the party leaders in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on its resolve to rescue the people of the state from bad governance.
Atadoga, the former majority leader, Kogi State House of Assembly, said the turnout of members‎, party supporters and decampees in Ayangba is a pointer of the desire to “change the change”.
He expressed confidence that with collective ‎efforts, understanding, determination and mobilisation, PDP will be the party to beat in the 2019 general elections.
Atadoga said amidst provocation and denials, the members of PDP are still intact.
“It is a glaring indication of their zeal to return to leadership roles both at the state and federal levels to solve this persistent hardship, poverty and under development.
“The Peoples Democratic Party at the zonal and state level are no longer convinced with the continuous policy somersault and inconsistencies prevalent in the last 30 months in the state and national governments.
The House of Representatives hopeful appealed to the members to sustain their loyalty and support and to attract more supporters so as to drive the idea of good governance to fruition.
