We all know what strike is. I see strike as the Enemy of progress in the sense that, the course that should be studied for just four years, can become five years mainly because of strike.

It is no more news that the Academic Staff Union of University ASUU, KSU chapter, embarked on an indefinite strike action yesterday.

We all know what indefinite means. With my research, and investigation, I observed that about 60-65% of students were happy about the strike without considering the negative side of the action. Though, I support the action of the Union to go on strike BUT it should have been better if it’s after the semester exam which suppose to commence on the 18 of April because no one pray to work both day and night without being paid.

On the other hand, I did not blame the state government neither the Governor because we all know the situation the country is at the moment.

Conclusively, I am using this post to urge both parties to reach an agreement and call off the strike before it gets out of hand.

Thank you.
