**Prince Audu calls on for support for Gov. Bello
A frontline governorship aspirant in the November 16 governorship election in Kogi state, Prince Mona Abubakar Audu has described the member representing Idah federal constituency Hon. David Idris Zacharias as a leader who has shown capacity to effectively lead his people in the right way.
Mona made the comment when he visited the lawmaker in his office in Abuja on Wednesday to congratulate him on his victory at the polls as well as the legal battle he passed through after the election.
The Prince of the late political leader of Kogi state noted that he thought it wise to pay him a congratulatory visit and to formally inform him of his readiness to give him necessary support to enable him succeed in office since the interest he has was to deliver the goods to the people.
He said reports from constituents indicated that Hon. Zacharias has offered himself to lead the people through his various empowerment programme and the disposition to listen to his constituents on issue that bother on their welfare.
The physically elated guest of the honourable advised his host to be people friendly, receptive, prayerful and ensure that he sustains his philanthropic gesture which he held before assuming the current position he is.

He added “I have absolute confidence in your capacity to deliver because you are a good student of my late father and our political leader, late Prince Abubakar Audu.”
On the political development in Kogi State, Mona Audu called on all political actors to join hands with the governor towards making the state better. He said there was no point engaging in the political fight, as that would only take the state backward.
He urged the governor to be on a reconciliatory mission and mend the broken paths that have risen from electoral process, adding that he should be more people oriented and carry all aggrieved persons along especially in political decisions and appointments.
In his words: “let us all support Yahaya Bello, we have used four years to fight, nothing came out of it, let us use these four years to change the narratives. This is a collective responsibility.
“It is God that givers power, he gives to whoever wills, let us unit to make Kogi better than what it is today. As arrived as we are now, we must let go and forge ahead”.
Hon Zacharias who commended the visit of the Ogbonicha Prince assured him that he would continually fly the flag of the political ideologies of the late Prince Abubakar Audu whom he said provided him the template of political leadership.
According to the Idah federal lawmaker, making the constituency great requires a collective responsibility of all stakeholders whose ideas he said would be beneficial to his activities.
Zacharias told his guest that he has set out the areas he want to concentrate on in empowering the constituents in their order of priority, adding that agriculture tops the list of interventions he attract to the people.
He said within the period in review that he assumed office, he has been able to facilitate employment to a number of people in government agencies where vacancies exist and has commended his constituency empowerment programme targeting youths and women which he said will be done in batches as founds and releases are done by agencies responsible for constituency projects.
