Minister of Steel Development Pays Ex-Kogi Governor, Alh Ibrahim Idris, Condolence Visit Over Son’s Demise

Minister for Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, on Thursday, paid a condolence visit to the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, at his Abuja home following the death of his son, Honourable Mohammed Idris.

Prince Audu, expressing his heartfelt sympathy to the former governor and elder statesman, urged him to remain strong and accept the will of Almighty Allah, who knows best.

The late Mohammed Idris, one of the older sons of the ex-Kogi governor and former lawmaker who represented Ankpa, Omala, and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, slumped and died shortly after the Eid prayers on Wednesday in Abuja.

Prince Audu prayed that Almighty Allah grant the soul of the late Mohammed Idris Aljannatu Fidarus.

Also present at the condolence visit were Alhaji Abubakar Idris, son of the former governor, and other family members.
