Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Kogi State and Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, has felicitated with Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu over her appointment as Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, describing her choice for the ministry as putting a round peg in a round hole.
This was contained in a press statement issued by his Media aide, Gideon Ayodele on Wednesday.
The statement read: “I congratulate Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, a fellow Kogite on her appointment as Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
“As an expert in Urban and Regional Planning, Dr. Aliyu’s experience will come to bear in the administration of the Federal Capital Territory and the city Abuja in particular, hence she is a round peg in a round hole.
“There is no doubt about her capacity and sagacity to deliver on her new assignment as an Ambassador of the good people of Kogi State on the national stage by virtue of her membership of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
“It is my desire that we can all work together for the betterment of Kogi State and Nigeria at large irrespective of our political differences.”
