The Okene-Ogori Magongo House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tijani Muhammed (TAO) has declared his readiness to support the planned medical outreach scheduled to kickstart later this month.
Hon. Tijani made this known when he received the national executives of Progressive Ambassadors for Tinubu earlier in Lokoja, Kogi State.
The team planned to embark on medical outreach in 11 states affected by the recent flood disaster and seek the support of Hon. Tijani Muhammed in other to have a successful outing. Three slots were extended to Kogi State and the team has decided to honor Hon. Tijani Muhammed to pick any location of his choice within Okene-Ogori Magongo constituency.
Hon. Tijani Muhammed described the idea as a welcome development. He reassured the team of his support and reiterate that medical outreach is one of the thematic cardinal points of his manifesto. He promised to sustain this initiative when voted into office.
“This is a program I have always had in mind to organize for my constituents but because of the cost implications. I have decided to attend to more pressing issues concerning my people. I am glad to partner with this team for the betterment of my people and the over all progress of our party.
“When voted into office by the people of Okene-Ogori Magongo constituency as their representative, I shall be focusing on ensuring that my people enjoy quality health care service through proper legislation and execution of constituency projects aimed at augmenting the medical needs of our people,” he said.
