The final burial outing service of late Mama Molomo Charity Irefin, mother of Major General Olu Irefin, General Officer Commanding, GOC, 6 Division and Land Component Commander, Operation Delta Safe, Port Harcourt Barracks will take place on Saturday, 28th November 2020.
Mama Molomo Charity Irefin died on the 15th of March 2020 at the age of 84 and was buried on 9th May 2020. She was a renowned nurse and community development enthusiast during her life time.
A statement issued by the Chairman, publicity committee, Mr Paul Ibidun, on behalf of the organizing committee states that family members, friends and invited dignitaries from all works of life are poised to pay their last respect that day to the matriarch of the Irefin dynasty.
The Church service is scheduled for 10am at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Ayetoro Gbede, Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State. Reception follows immediately after at the Government Girls’ Secondary School field, Ayetoro Gbede.
Also, in honour of the late Mama Charity Molomo Irefin, a free medical outreach program is being organized between 26th and 27th November 2020 at LEA No. 2 Primary School in Ayetoro Gbede.
The outreach program is planned to provide free general medical check-up, free consultation, free eye and dental clinics, free laboratory services, free drugs and professional counselling sessions for all categories of people in the community and its environs. Covid-19 protocols put in place by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) will be strictly observed throughout the programme.
All guests and lovers of the Irefin Family are cordially invited and encouraged to attend punctually.
