Ahead of the local government elections in Kogi state, it has become imperative as concerned members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kabba-Bunu to urge Barr. Kehinde Oloruntoba and his group not to cause unnecessary tension and disaffection within the party.

It is also important to let him know that zoning arrangements are not constitutional which he is expected to know as a learned person. The  position of law as regards how party candidates emerge to fly the flag of the party in an election should also not be strange to him.

Why the rush of collecting money from the Chairmanship aspirants to organize an illegal shadow primary among the aspirants from Kiri axis; with an election that has no date yet, and SIEC members not screened and cleared by the State House of Assembly?

We also want to let him know that despite the arrangement put in place by the leadership of the party to zone the slot to Kiri axis, it does not stop other aspirants from other wards not to buy intent forms and expression of interest when the party give directive to that effect.

Hon. Kehinde  Oloruntoba is advised not to be faster than his shadow, he should allow SIEC to announce the date of election first before other processes can follow.

We urge him to allow due process to take its course by allowing the process to run freely when the time comes, as anyone who emerges through the party primary  will be the party flag bearer not a product of any illegal shadow primary.

Mr Kehinde Oloruntoba should allow the majority party executives in Kabba/Bunu to decide not a few as being canvassed by his group.
