The member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Alfa Momoh Rabiu has condemned in strongest terms the assassination of a unionist by unknown gunmen in the state.
The unfortunate incident which took place at Oziwaya, Okene local government area of Kogi state claimed the life of one Mallam Abdulmumin who until his death was the Kogi state chairman of Non Academic Staff Union (NASU).
While reacting to the news, the high ranking honorable decried the rate at which evil forces are operating freely in the state and called on the state government as well as the state’s commissioner of police and relevant law enforcement agencies to beef up security in the state.
Thereafter, the member prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased and all other faithful departed.
