Lawi Calls For Improved Educational System

The lawmaker representing Okene I state Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Lawi AT Ahmed, has called for improvement in the system of education in the country.
He said government at all levels must invest in education for the development of the country.
Lawi spoke through his media aide, Comrade Danfulani Lukman who represented him at a meeting organized by Elite Youth of Nigeria (EYN) at Lokoja Kogi State.
Lawi, who distributed over 10,000 exercise books, 5,000 school bags to all the public primary school in his constituency and donated 10 computer set to standard primary school, Onyikoko and have also offered scholarships to some students of his constituents sometimes ago, noted that every resident of the state should have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the country.
He said, “When  youths are well educated and they have materials and tools to aid their learning, the sky will only be their starting point. I believe so much in empowering youths because they are the leaders of tomorrow. Education should be easily accessible to members of the public and government has to ensure that people get quality education.”
