National Vice President of Kogi State Medical Student Association (KOMSA), Comrade Adeku Omeiza Samuel congratulates the newly elected executives of the Kogi State University Student Union Government (SUG).
The election was a tough one as all the candidates put their best efforts to becoming the winner. In fact if was difficult at some point to pin point who and who had the best shot.
Eventually the election has come and gone but left us with only one candidate for each position as the most popular candidate. I want to say that we are all winners and history has been made that we were able to conduct a peaceful election. This election has been registered on the sands of time to our advantage.
Big congratulations to comrade Dominic Iko-Ojo the elected SUG President and our own Comrade Emmanuel Onoja the elected Director of Health. We believe in your capacity to serve hence our support. Please don’t disappoint the college of health science, remember how we started the struggle together. We see the elected president as one of us already.
I also want to appreciate the government of His Excellency Alhaji Yahya Adoza Bello who is student friendly. This is the only government that has paid bursary up to 18,000 naira to medical students across the country. He has also signed the agreement for the monthly allowance to all Kogi state medical student. I believe alerts will start rolling in as the government is always committed to students welfare.
