Majority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Matthew Kolawole has expressed confidence in PDP securing victory in the guber poll slated for next month in Kogi State.
Prince Kolawole stated this in an exclusive chat with Vanguard shortly after the Appellate Tribunal sitting in Abuja upheld his election as member representing Kabba/Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
Kolawole said the APC has no concrete structure in the state, arguing that the “pyrrhic victory” recorded by the party during the presidential and nation assembly elections in March was made possible by the personality of President Muhammadu Buhari.
In his words: “The March poll was won by President Muhammadu Buhari and his change mantra. That really helped the National Assembly candidates of the All Progressives Congress. The failure of APC to re-enact their March 28 feat on April 11 is an indication of the superiority of PDP over APC in the state.”
