The Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Interest Groups, Hon. Bank-Andrew Omonisaye, has paid a strategic working visit to the Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA), Kabba-Bunu Branch, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the bond between the state government and critical stakeholders across Kogi State.
During the visit, Hon. Omonisaye reaffirmed the commitment of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration to people-centered governance and inclusive development, describing the engagement as another step in bringing government closer to the grassroots.
The Special Adviser was warmly received by the Vice Chairman of the association, Mr. Olorunmebun Idowu Michael, alongside members and leaders of the union. The engagement served as a platform for robust discussions on the welfare of artisans, youth empowerment, skills development, job creation, and the role of trade associations in advancing economic growth at the grassroots.

Addressing members of the association, Hon. Omonisaye stated that Governor Ododo’s administration remains resolute in ensuring that every segment of society has a voice in governance. He noted that artisans, technicians, traders, and other special interest groups constitute the backbone of the state’s economy and must be actively involved in shaping policies that affect their livelihoods.

According to him, the Governor’s vision is anchored on inclusive leadership, economic empowerment, and sustainable development. He stressed that his office was established to serve as a bridge between government and the people, ensuring that the concerns, aspirations, and contributions of organized groups are adequately represented in governance.
Hon. Omonisaye further commended members of NATA for their dedication to service, technical excellence, and contribution to youth employment, describing them as key partners in the collective effort to build a more prosperous Kogi State. He urged them to continue supporting the administration’s developmental agenda while remaining ambassadors of peace, progress, and unity in their communities.

Responding on behalf of the association, Vice Chairman Mr. Olorunmebun Idowu Michael expressed appreciation for the visit and praised Governor Ododo’s administration for extending its reach to grassroots stakeholders through strategic engagements. He assured the Special Adviser of the association’s continued cooperation and support for programmes and policies that promote economic growth and improve the welfare of citizens.
