The Joint Campus Committee of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), yesterday endorsed Governor Idris Wada for a second term in the November 21 election in Kogi State.
NANS President, Comrade Tijani Usman, at a press conference in Lokoja, said the union chose to support Wada for a second term after assessing his achievements in the education sector in the state.
“Having toured round the schools where we carried out thorough assessment of facilities, we hereby wish to commend Gov Wada for the infrastructural and welfare development that have taken place at the Kogi State University, Anyigba.
“We therefore call on all students to come out en masse and vote Capt. Wada for another term for continuity of his giant strides in the educational development of Kogi”, he said.
