#KogiDecides: Buba Jubril Hosts Kogi West Stakeholders, Reiterates Support for Faleke

Leaders and stakeholders of the All progressives Congress (APC) Kogi West senatorial district has once again rejected the nomination of Alhaji Yahya Bello as late Prince Abubakar Audu’s  replacement and reiterated their support for Hon. Abiodun Faleke in his legal action against Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the law court.

This was contained in communique signed by the Mayegun of Isanluland, Hon. Dare Olatunde and made available to pressmen today.

The stakeholders meeting in the Kogi western axis was convened by Hon Buba Jubril in Lokoja.

The group reiterated their loyalty and support for the Faleke/Audu ticket contrary to the imposition of Yahaya Bello by the APC  national chairman.

The stakeholders resolved that Hon James Abiodun Faleke should continue with his legal case.

“That we shall remain loyal and committed to struggle of Hon James Faleke in the law court. No retreat no surrender come rain come sun”, the statement reads.

They also wants peaceful negotiation to go along side by side with the legal issue in court.

They expressed sadness over the death of the party late flag bearer late Prince Abubakar Audu and pray God to repose his soul.

In his reaction, Arc Buba Jubril expressed strong belief in peaceful resolution to the present political logjam in the state branch of the party.

“But members agreed that peace talk go on alongside with Faleke legal suit since he is not too happy with the party stance on the replacement carried out by the national secretariat”.
