Dear Engr Musa Wada,

I humbly call upon you to jettison plans to appeal the judgement affirming the victory of H.E Alhaji Yayaha Adoza Eleojo Bello as the winner of the 2019 Kogi state governorship election by the election tribunal.

I urge you to rather join forces with the youthful administration of Gov Yahaya Bello and his vibrant Deputy Governor, H.E Chief Edward Onoja to improve the state economy, continue their good work in the areas of security, infrastructure, youth empowerment and inclusiveness in governance etc.

I know many people might be urging you and encouraging you to appeal the decision of the election tribunal. These people are only interested in pushing further as they are only interested in the financial gains from the processes. I know you can attest to the fact that none of these people asking you to appeal have in any way contributed to your struggle financially.

It is my honest plea you accept the verdict of the tribunal in faith as it’s only God that gives power to whomever he pleases. I call on you sir and your  supporters to team up with Gov Yahaya Adoza Bello as he focuses on the enormous task of re-engineering and repositioning of our dear state – fixing the economy, creating jobs for teeming population of unemployed youths, tackling corruption and insecurity for a secured and prosperous Kogi state.

It is a fact that Saturday’s judgment has further reaffirmed the confidence Kogites have in the ability of Gov Yahaya Bello to lead our dear state and their decisions to re-elect him again to take Kogites and Kogi to the next level.

In the interest of the masses and progressive minds, it’s expected of you as a progressive Kogite and lover of democracy to join hand with Gov Yahaya Bello and his Deputy, HE Chief Edward Onoja in consolidating on “Doing More” for our people.

It is important to put into consideration that Saturday’s Kogi Governorship Election Tribunal judgment is a victory for democracy, rule of law and all Kogi masses and youths that troop out in their millions to support and cast their votes and also defended it for the Governor during the 2019 governorship election.

As an advocate of peace, I solicit for your support in joining hands with the current leadership in building the Kogi of our dreams.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Arome Oma Eboh
