Kogi SUBEB to Blacklist Defaulting Contractors

The executive chairman of the Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board, Suleiman Ndalayi, yesterday warned that contractors who did shoddy jobs or defaulted in the execution of contracts awarded to them by the board would be blacklisted.

 

Abdullahi who gave the warning in Lokoja at the bid opening and pre-qualification for UBEC/SUBEB 2017 capital projects, urged prospective contractors to execute them according to laid down specifications and time frame for the overall benefit of school children across the benefiting communities in the state.

 

He said the various contracts awarded under the 2015/2016 UBEC/SUBEB capital projects were going on well across the state and had attained about 85 percent completion stage.
