Kogi Revenue Staff Launches Book on Taxation in Abuja

A senior staff of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service, KSIRS, Mallam Mohammed Atojoko will on Thursday, April 8, 2021 make a public presentation and launching of a book titled, ‘Taxation in the Upstream and Downstream Sectors of Petroleum Industry’ at International Conference Centre Abuja.

Atojoko, who is currently the head of tax education and enlightenment at the revenue service office had in 2017 launched a book on Understanding Taxation, among others.

Atojoko, an Accountant by profession, developed the zeal for writing through his social interactions and rigorous academic history which he started from University of Nigeria Nursery and Primary School Nssuka, Ayodele Nursery/Primary School Eleyele GRA Ibadan Oyo State, St. Joseph Primary School (RCM) Anyigba, Kogi State.

He attended the famous Ochaja Secondary School Ochaja: the Federal Polytechnic ldah and studied Accounting; and had his NYSC at Obubura Cross Rivers State. He then proceeded to University of Ibadan, for a Diploma program in Computer Science.

He was among the first set of Post Graduate Students at the Kogi State University Anyigba; and then went to Nasarawa State University Keffi for Masters in Finance’ he is currently studying at National Open University of Nigeria for a PhD programme,.

He previously worked with Integrated Data Service Limited IDSL a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC at Oko Benin City Edo State, Also worked with Kogi State Transport Company, Lokoja.
