The management of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja has announced a 33.33 percent slash in hostel accommodation fee.
A statement signed by the Director, Information Technology and Resource Centre, Dr Oluwakemi Ayodele, in Lokoja on Friday, the Polytechnic said the downward review of her hostel fee from N30,000 to N20,000 will take effect from 2021/2022 academic session.
The statement noted that the slash in hostel fee was in view of the prevailing security situation in the country and other exigencies.
The management appealed to parents and students to take advantage of the unique opportunity.
The Polytechnic assured students of guaranteed security, medical, electricity and water facilities in the hostels.
The statement, however, warned that management of the Polytechnic shall not be responsible for any mishap to students living outside the polytechnic’s hostels.
