The Kogi State Executive Committee of the PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign Organisation, led by the State Coordinator, Hon. David Mark Ogwu, on Tuesday paid a thank-you visit to the organisation’s patron, the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyabe, to express appreciation for his continued support and encouragement.

The visit follows the recent inauguration of the National Executive Council of the organisation in Abuja.

During the courtesy call, the delegation conveyed its profound gratitude to the Commissioner, describing his patronage as a source of strength and motivation to the Kogi State chapter. The State Executive noted that his support and guidance had contributed immensely to the growth and effectiveness of the organisation, and assured him of the state leadership’s commitment to sustaining the momentum and advancing the organisation’s collective vision.

Responding, Hon. Anyabe commended the Kogi State delegates for their impressive comportment, discipline and exemplary conduct during the National Executives’ inauguration, saying their conduct reflected the level of commitment and preparedness required to advance the organisation’s objectives.

The Commissioner assured the delegation of the unwavering commitment of the Governor Usman Ododo administration to supporting legitimate youth-oriented initiatives capable of strengthening political participation and mobilisation across the state. He pledged that the state government would continue providing the necessary encouragement and support for the smooth running of the organisation’s activities, and urged members to remain united, focused and committed to its ideals.

The Kogi State Executive also used the occasion to express appreciation to the Commissioner, and by extension Governor Ododo, over the recent appointment of one of its members, Hon. Isah Aliyu, Coordinator of Okehi Local Government Area, as a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) in the state government’s recent round of appointments. The organisation described the appointment as a demonstration of the Governor’s recognition of the contributions of young people and grassroots political actors to the state’s development, and congratulated Hon. Isah Aliyu on the confidence reposed in him.

The delegation reaffirmed its continued loyalty, commitment and grassroots mobilisation to the Commissioner and Governor Ododo, promising to deploy its structures across the state in support of the political aspirations of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The State Executive expressed confidence that, through sustained grassroots engagement, strategic mobilisation and effective door-to-door advocacy, the organisation would contribute significantly to securing victory for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

The visit ended on a note of renewed commitment, solidarity and optimism, with the Kogi State chapter reaffirming its determination to strengthen its grassroots structures and work with relevant stakeholders towards achieving its political objectives.
