Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello said it the government has paid N2.2 billion counterpart fund for the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs.
Bello said the payment underscore his administration’s commitment to the rapid socio-economic development of the state.
Bello who stated this yesterday in Lokoja while declaring open a workshop organised by the state office of SDGs, revealed that his administration’s development blueprint is in agreement with the focus of SDGs, assured that he would give the state SDGs all the support it needed to deliver on its mandate.
