  • Ask Sanwo-Olu, Jandor to quit the race.

Ahead of March 18 gubernatorial elections, Kogi State Obi-dient Movement has thrown its weight behind the governorship candidate of Labour Party in Lagos state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.

In a statement issued in Lokoja on Wednesday, Kogi state coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Comrade Sunday Bala Oma, advised Governor Babajide Sanwoolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Abdulazeez Adeniran (Jandor) to quit the race to avoid immiment defeat.

Bala Oma thanked all Obidient crusaders for a great outing at the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections. He expressed confidence that the presidential mandate freely given to Mr. Peter Obi by Nigerians will be reclaimed.

“I find it hard to believe that Sanwo-Olu is still in the race. No wonder, he has been jumping from pillar to post recently. Truth is, the goal post has shifted and there is a new order called OBIDIENTS, who determine who governs them. We will replicate the same on the 18th of March, as on the day of 25 February, 2023, God sparing our lives,” he said.

He admonished Kogi indigenes residing in Lagos state to come out enmass to deliver Rhodes-Vivour and Princess Oyefusi on Saturday. He urged them to ensure no stone is left unturned, until both are declared winner of Lagos governorship polls.
