Kogi NYSC Coordinator Commends Okene LG Chairman’s Special Love for Corp Members

Kogi State Coordinator of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Pastor Adebimpe Williams has expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad, for his relentless efforts to improve the welfare of corp members in his domain.

Williams made this known she led management officers of NYSC a working visit to the council chairman in Okene on Tuesday.

She commended the council chairman for seeking improved welfare and security of corp members in Okene.

The state coordinator said on assumption of office, she was briefed of the efforts of Okene local government chairman who provided corp members with 60 pieces of mattresses, water pumping machine and over head tanks, renovation of corpers’ lodge, provision of office space at the local government secretariat and sponsorship of Community Development Services (CDS) for some corp members.

Pastor Adebimpe described Engr. Abdulrazaq as a humble man with unique style of administration as Okene local government remain the most peaceful council area in Kogi State.

Hon. Abdulrazaq appreciated his visitors and assured the state coordinator and management of NYSC of his continued support to the scheme especially in areas of provision of security and welfare to the serving corp members in the area.
