Kogi NUJ Holds Parliamentary Day

Activities marking the 2016 Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Press Week in Kogi State continues tomorrow with the Parliamentary Day.

The Parliamentary Day is a day set aside for indigenes of the State, who are serving National Assembly Members and the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly to interact with Journalists on their activities as it regards representation of their constituencies.

The program which would hold at the NUJ Secretariat, would begin at ten o’clock in the morning.

Other activities lined up for the press week includes, fitness work, blood donation and public lecture on Saturday and Monday the 26 amd 28 of November 2016, respectively.

The week-long event would be rounded up on Tuesday, 29th November, 2016, with the induction of the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, as the Grand patron of the State NUJ and the recognition of some individuals who have distinguished themselves in their field of endeavours.

The Grand finale of the press week would hold at the Reverton Hotels, Lokoja at ten o’clock.
