The Federated Chapel of the Kogi State Council of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) has elected new executive members who will lead the chapel for the next three years.
Comrade Michael Abu emerged chairman of the chapel in a free and fair election conducted Vice Chairman of Kogi NUJ, Comrade Ibrahim Obansa.
Obansa called on the newly elected executive members to work together for the common good of the chapel and to unite its members for a common cause.

He emphasized the importance of cooperation and unity within the chapel.
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Michael Abu pledged to lead the chapel with integrity and purpose.
Abu assured members that the new executive would work tirelessly to make the NUJ in the state proud and to promote the overall development of the union.
He expressed his gratitude to Kogi NUJ for overseeing the election and promised to maintain an open door policy for members.
Also elected were Musa Tanimu as Vice Chairman, Deborah Agbonika as Secretary, Olayemi Gabriel as Treasurer, Olatunde Odimayo as Assistant Secretary, and Felix Udebu as Financial Secretary.
