Kogi Labour Leader Admonishes New Appointees on Service, Loyalty

Chairman, United Labour Congress of Nigeria (ULC). Kogi state council, Comrade Opaluwa Eleojo has admonished newly appointed aides to Governor Yahaya Bello to serve the people and state diligently.

In a statement issued in Lokoja on Thursday, Opaluwa said while their loyalty is to the Governor, they new appointees owe the people service.

He counselled them to conduct themselves in orderly manner because power is transient.

“To whom is given, much is expected. To all the appointees, I congratulate you. You must always bear in mind that your loyalty is first to the Governor, secondly, you owe the people, service. 

“Always remember that power is transient, don’t run away from your old friends, because you meet them again after office,” he said.
