Kogi Judiciary Rewards 27 Staff for Outstanding Performances

As part of efforts to encourage workers to dis­charge their du­ties diligently, Kogi State Judiciary has rewarded 27 staff for outstanding per­formances, hard work and efficient service delivery.

The Kogi State Chief Judge, Justice Nasiru Aja­nah, who disclosed this while speaking at the 1st Kogi State Chief Judge’s Annual Merit award, 2014, held at the High Court Com­plex on Tuesday in Lokoja, stated that this was aimed at sustaining a functional, viable corrupt free and proud judiciary.

Justice Ajanah explained that few staff who found it difficult to appreciate this philosophy have shown the way out from the inception of the current administra­tion, adding that he had always be yearning to fash­ion out a policy that will acknowledge and appreci­ate the staff that saw direc­tion and were in sync with same.

“That is why I am elated that this event is holding. We shall make this an an­nual event and subsequent­ly, with the anticipated im­provement in the resources available to the organiza­tion we will make our gift tangible and more appre­ciable which we hope will serve as impetus for other staff to strive to attain their optimal in service delivery, “the CJ stressed.
