The Federal civil service and that of Kogi State are to collaborate on service reforms to equip the civil servants for better service delivery
This was part of the discussion when the Kogi State Head of service, Mr Elijah Evinemi paid a congratulatory visit on the Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack in her office in Abuja.
Speaking during the visit, Kogi Head of Service, Mr Elijah Evinemi congratulated the new Head of Service of the Federation on her appointment, describing it as well deserved.
He also solicited the collaboration of the Head of Federal service in the area digitisation of civil service, training and staff development, adding that such partnerships would enhance quality service delivery for Nigerians.
In her response, the Head of service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack expressed gratitude to the Kogi state Head of service for the visit, promising that her office would ensure strategic partnerships with the offices of Head of Service in all the states of the Federation in the areas of training and reforms that would equip civil servants for smooth implementation of government policies and programmes.
Mrs Walson-Jack commended the Kogi State Head of service for his efficiency and innovative performance since he assumed office, saying that the reforms he embarked upon are top-notch and they would yield positive results for government and civil servants
She promised to assist the Kogi state civil service in achieving the subjects of the discussions by sharing information and experiences.
Mrs Walson-Jack later linked up the Kogi state Head of service with the Permanent Secretary, Service, Policies and Strategies and the head of the digitization team in the office of the Head of service of the Federation where the duo had fruitful deliberations on ways of collaboration and strategies to reposition the service for quality service delivery.
