Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant has explained that he is in the race to effect a change in the well-being of the people.
Aminu stated this, on Sunday, at the official inauguration of his campaign office, Federal Constituency and local government area coordinators in Lokoja.
According to the governorship hopeful, his joining the guber race was an answer to the numerous calls to help salvage the state from decay and poverty.
He disclosed that as a professional who has made impact in his chosen field of endeavour, it behoves on him to hearken to the numerous calls to improve the lives of the citizens, assured of better days.
While noting that the campaign office would serve as a liaison office, the coordinators, he explained, would serve as ambassadors, that would ease the task of information gathering to help in effective campaign.
He promised not in let the people down, said the overwhelming support he thus far enjoyed is an indication of the peoples desire for change, stressing that he is the change that would meet the yearning and aspiration of the people.
Highlight of the occasion was the formal inauguration of the campaign committee by Hon. Paul Ukwenya, with a charge on them to deliver Aminu Abubakar Suleiman in the PDP forthcoming governorship primaries.
