Kogi Guber: Ebira Muslim Community Holds Special Prayer For Gov. Bello

Muslims from across the five local governments of Kogi Central in the early hours of Friday converged at the Central Mosque in Okene for a special prayer organized by All Progressive Congress (APC) Campaign Council in Kogi Central.

The Islamic prayers is the last leg of the three days prayer session for the peaceful and successful electioneering campaigns in Kogi State.

In his sermon, the Chief Imam of Ebiraland, Sheikh Salihu Abere prayed for the well being of Gov. Yahaya Bello, his cabinet members, the Campaign Council and Kogi State in general.

The Islamic cleric handed over the glorious Quran to the Governor of Kogi State, through the Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. (Mall) Abdulrazaq Muhammad, as a special gift for protection and guidance of himself and his members before, during and after the general election.

In his brief address, the Director-General of Bello/Onoja Campaign Council for Kogi Central, Hon. Abubakar Suberu Adagu thanked the Muslim clerics and the general public for coming out to take part in the special prayer.

He said, the prayer become necessary to seek Allah’s divine protection, guidiance and mercy as the All Progressive Congress (APC) and indeed the electorate enter electioneering period as we prepare to enter the next level come November 16, 2019.

The duo of the Senator representing Kogi Central, Sen. Yakubu Oseni and the member representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency, Hon. Ahmed Tijani Damisa took time to specially pray for Governor Bello. They prayed for his long life and sound health to consolidate on his developmental agenda.

The Party’s Zonal  Vice-Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi, the Chairman of Elder Advisory Council, Alh. Yahaya Karaku, Assembly member representing Okene II Constituency, Hon. Ahmed Dahiru Amewuru, the Secretary to the Central Campaign Council, Hon. Abdulrasheed Adabara and the Head of the Media Committee, Hon. Abdulmumin Abubakar were at the Central mosque for the special prayers.
