“Governor Bello has boosted the morale of the state athletes and he deserves our accolades. His love for sport has been demonstrated through the priority which he accorded to the revival of various erstwhile sporting events in the state.
“In the coming days, there would be state-sponsored inter local government sports competition, inter school competition and Kogi State Sport festival. All these will be geared towards boosting our economic activities and foster unity among the various segments of the state”, Hon. Dolly averred.
The Council Chairman equally disclosed that preparations are on top gear for Kogi State contingents to actively participate in the proposed National Sport Festival scheduled to take place in the year 2018. Kogi State, he stressed, cannot afford to relent on the laurels it has garnered since the inception of this administration.
