Kogi Gov’ship: Group Commissions Campaign Office, Declares Support for Leke Abejide

A group, Kogi Diaspora Vanguard for Good Governance, has adopted the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Elder Leke Abejide as their preferred one amongst the candidates of other political parties jostling for the Kogi governorship seat in the November 11 gubernatorial poll.

The convener of the group, Engr. Omoniyi Sunday Abayomi during his speech said the group has decided to support Leke Abejide to become Kogi State Governor simply because of his antecedents and present performance as a representative of Yagba Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.

The National Secretary of the group, Comrade Temitope Daniel said the group is confident to sell Abejide’s candidacy because he has been tested within a space of four years and has proved himself worthy even in less than two of the four years.

The group unanimously agreed that Abejide is the best of all candidates and that when he becomes the Governor, Kogi State will be better for it.

J.O. Abel-Ontop, a stakeholder of the ADC and frontline supporter of Leke Abejide, in his speech encourage the people to continually support the party candidate.

He said Leke Abejide is the only worthy candidates and the only one that bears the real interest of Kogi State people.

Abel-Ontop added that Abejide’s candidacy is not limited to a group of people, rather it is for the general developmental interest of humanity in the interest of Kogi State, her indigents and residence.

The event hosted other supporters and well wishers, Hon. Lasisi Musa, candidate of Action Alliance (AA) for Yagba Federal Constituency in just concluded elections in his remarks said he has decided to support Elder Leke Abejide because of his good works.
