Kogi governorship aspirant and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Dayo Akanmode has described his wife as a committed, loyal confidant.
In a statement issued on Saturday to celebrate his wife, Dr. Olushola Akanmode, at 50, the politician noted that she had made tremendous impact and deserved a special golden jubilee.
“I give God all the glory on her behalf and may His name be praised. The question agitating my mind before today was when is it appropriate to celebrate a woman that has given so much to the family and the world much more than she has received herself?
“The answer to this gave me the courage to rally round the children to celebrate this virtuous wife and dedicated mother. Thank God that the children obeyed and have honoured her with their presence.
In our marriage of twenty eight solid years out of fifty, she has spent on earth, my wife has demonstrated loyalty, faithfulness, sacrifice and commitment. I therefore call on family members, friends and well wishers to join me to wish her happy birthday. Wishing you longevity, peace and abundance in good health,” he penned.
