Kogi First Lady’s Aides Survives Car Crash

Two top aides of Kogi State first lady, Hajia Rashida Bello and a senior special assistant to Gov. Yahaya Bello were on Saturday involved in a minor car accident along Lokoja-Kabba road.

The incident occurred around Oshokoshoko village in Lokoja local government area while the government appointees were traveling to Isanlu for the All Progressives Congress (APC) women rally.

In a press statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Onogwu Muhammed, the three appointees came out unhurt.

“The Senior Special Assistant on Women and Children to the Governor, Mrs Kenechi Ajayi, the Senior Special Assistant to the wife of the Governor on Women affairs, Mrs Ejura Edward and the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the wife of the Governor, Mrs Adesoro Olamide were involved in a minor auto accident this morning around Oshokoshoko village while on their way to Isanlu for the All Progressives Congress women rally but came out unhurt,” he said.

Onogwu confirmed that all occupants of the car involved in accident are in perfect condition.

He announced that incident will not deter the First Lady’s campaign tour of Kogi West.

“The Governors wife’s door-door campaign train continues with their rally to the western senatorial district after a successful two days outing in Kogi East.”
