The first lady of Kogi State, Hajia Rashida Yahaya Bello has confirmed her presence and participation in the 2018 edition of Ebira Carnival.
This was confirmed on Tuesday during a courtesy visit by the Carnival LOC Chairman, Engr. Ismail Abubakar.
Abubakar intimated the first lady of the carnival preparations and new innovation to this year’s edition of the event.
The carnival coordinator on Entertainment, Alh Lateef Ovosi highlighted various series of event during the picnic to include cultural runway of Anebira woven cloth, mega concert featuring Anebira Hip-hop and the Ebira kitchen with local delicacies.
Bello, who is the mother of the day, promised to feature in the carnival procession and to partake in every activity of the carnival.
Climax of this year carnival is the lunching of the carnival medical outreach for the host community in Usungwe in Okehi LGA.
