Kogi State Football Association has sent its condolences to Rangers FC, Enugu Football Association and the Nigerian Football Federation(NFF) on the sudden death of Ifeanyi George and two other players.
In a statement signed the state chairman, Umarr Suleiman Isah, Kogi FA said “the 27years old was a very fine attacker and learning about the ghastly motor accident and death was a rude shock to the Kogi State Football Association.
“In the spirit of football and humanity Kogi FA sympathize with Enugu FA, Rangers Football Club, the family of the deceased, Nigeria Football Federation and the entire football family. May their souls rest in peace.”
