The 2015 FA Cup in Kogi State will get underway on Saturday 14th of March with nine teams competing for honor to dethrone defending champions Kogi United.
At the draws conducted at Kogi State FA office, three clubs were drawn bye and qualified for the semi finals.
The clubs include defending champions Kogi United, Nationwide sides, FC Lokoja and Ankpa Leopards.
The opening fixture will see Kogi State University, KSU FC taking on Federal Medical Centre, FMC on saturday at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoka.
FC Twenty-Four (24) will keep a date with Rising Stars on Sunday while Kotonkarfe Ambassadors will be slugging it out with Idah United next Tuesday all in Lokoja.
Kogi United will however wait the winner between KSU and FMC for the semi-final match on 24th of March
The final to determine who will represent the state as champion at the national finals will be decided on 4th of April, 2015 at the same stadium.
Kogi United defeated FC Lokoja 7-6 on penalties in last year’s final.
