Kogi Education Commissioner Monitors Conduct of 2024 Common Entrance Exam, Warns Against Malpractice

The Honorable Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, has monitored the conduct of the 2024 Common Entrance Examination in the State.

The common entrance examination which is being held simultaneously at various centres across the State, was also monitored by officials of education ministry in Lokoja and all the 21 local government areas.

The Honorable Commissioner who carried out the monitoring exercise in some schools across Kogi West Senatorial district, commended the smooth conduct of the statewide examination.

The Honorable Commissioner who expressed his satisfaction with the conduct of the ongoing Common Entrance Examination in the state, warned students to shun all forms of exam malpractice.

He assured the students of the commitment of the Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, to continue to ensure education transformation to greater heights in the state.

At the sidelines of the monitoring, the Honorable Commissioner also visited an ICT center in Kogi State University, Kabba facilitated by a well meaning Okun’s daughter.

The commissioner also inspect the ongoing construction of Security House at the institution being facilitated and coordinated by the Caretaker Chairman, Kabba/Bunu LGA

The centers monitored included St. Augustine College, Kabba, St. Joseph and St. Mary, among others.

The commissioner was accompanied by Hon. Dare Zacchaeus, Honorable Bode Adeyemi, Special Adviser on Energy among others.
