The Atai Aidoko Ali Continuity Group has warned political gladiators who are bent on running down his image at all cost to leave him out of their funny games.

Spokesman of the group, Idris Yakubu condemned the reports that Senator Aidoko is planning to disrupt the forthcoming Kogi East senatorial primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He said the rumoured plans to skew the primaries in favour of the incumbent senators as unfounded.
According to Yakubu, the same group who had accused Aidoko of underhand dealings in their candidates’ purported disqualification has with various unfounded allegations against the senator representing to Kogi East.
He alleged that this dangerous and politically motivated rumours is always emanating from those that claimed Kogi East politics is at their peck and call, claiming that they are applying all sorts of timid ideas to tilt the race to their favour.
He said the race is open for all the aspirants vying for senatorial seats in Kogi East, West and Central, adding that the traducers should leave Aidoko out of their political machinations.
Idris said the idea of crying wolf where there is none is preposterous and a calculated attempt to link the senator to their expected failures.
“Out of their desperate tendencies to clinch to the senatorial seat, they have come to town to batter the image of Senator Atai Aidoko to suit their whims and caprices.
“Representing Kogi East is not a do or die affairs as over eight aspirants are expected to contest in the race. Senator Aidoko should not be held responsible for their political misfortune.
“There is an adage in Igala language that says “You don’t bring out a masquerade for a festival and at the same time make it to under perform. The race will be keenly contested and all hands must be on deck to ensure gladiators showcase their political acceptance among the people of the state,” he said.
