Kogi east senator, Atai Aidoko Ali has begged the people of Olamaboro local government area of Kogi state to stand by their promise to vote all PDP candidates in the next February elections.

Senator Aidoko made this statement in Ugbamaka Iga during a thank you tour, to the local government and stewardship to the leaders and party executives of the party.

Senator Aidoko revealed the circumstances surrounding his nomination as the party’s candidate for next month election, as well as the endless litigation surrounding his current ascension to the red chamber.

He noted that in spite of all circumstances, there is a greater need to renew our determination to vote enmasse all PDP candidates, from top to button to ensure the  liberation of Igala-Bassa nation.

Senator representing Kogi East, stressed the need to be mindful of anti party activities against PDP, saying any attempt to divide the interest of the party against others, will be a straight way to APC victory and portends serious dangers to the welfare of the people and the party leadership.

“Our decision to vote PDP should be collective,as any contrary action, means endorsement of cattle colony, non payement of salaries of our workers and pensioners, dearth of infrastructural development, and a lee way to return the APC led state government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

“It is already in the public knowledge, that the state government has issued 20,000 hectares of land span Olamaboro, Bassa and Omala with C of O to the cattle rearers as they are only waiting for the election to come and go to make do their promise to the herdsmen,” he said.

He said the state government, under the current leadership, never meant well for the people of Kogi East, saying any attempt to concede to their candidates in any party or APC, spell a great doom for the Igala race.

According to Aidoko, the current administration had mortgaged the future of our children and children yet unborn, so the pressure to cajole the electorates into voting their party, out of intimidation, inducement and any other gimmicks they must have contrived, should be rejected.

Senator Aidoko said the only way to guarantee the future of our people and children is to reject in its totality, the satanic leadership style of APC, both at the state and federal levels.

“Let’s bury our differences, our hatchet to move kogi east forward, and allow our divergent views to be our strength of unity and togetherness, to form a common front for the betterment of the Igala race.

“Any attempt to allow victory for the APC candidate in any election, then the Igalas should drop the impression of returning to the leadership of the state as well as good governance, till further notice.”

Earlier, the state secretary of the party, Alhaji Farouk Yahaya commended the people of the area for their large turn out, advising them to demonstrate same at the forthcoming election.

He said the point of convergence of the large and uncontrollable crowd, was the testament of the willingness of the people of the area to sustain the senatorial seat of Kogi East.

Farouk urged them to vote for all PDP candidates in the next month elections, to demonstrate our grievance towards the non challant leadership style at the state and federal levels.
