The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed the screening of its aspirants for Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo states governorship election.

In a statement issued on Friday by the National Organising Secretary, Umar Nature, the date for screening was moved from February 13 to March 1.

He explained that the adjustment in date, as approved by National Working Committee (NWC), was necessitated by the ongoing electioneering for the 2023 general elections.

Bature said the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms in Kogi State only has been extended till February 13.

“All other dates for other activities related to the primary elections in the respective states remained unchanged,” Bature added.
