Kogi Central Senate: No Victor No Vanquished, Oseni Waves Olive Branch

Coming against the background of growing criticisms by his co-contestants in the just concluded APC senatorial primary election in Kogi central, Alhaji Yakubu Oseni, the winner of the poll, has waved an olive branch reiterating that he would be magnanimous in victory.

Alhaji Yakubu who spoke in an exclusive chat with this reporter stressed the need for APC family to be United ahead of the forthcoming general election in Kogi State. He gave the assurance that he would be magnanimous in victory, stressing the need for all party members to close-ranked and work assiduously to ensure the success of the party at the polls come 2019.

It would be recalled that Alhaji Yakubu Oseni polled total votes of 1100 to defeat other contestants in the APC primary held at the ancient town of Okene. He promised to deliver a robust representation at the upper chamber if given the opportunity to serve.

Alhaji Oseni is the most educated and credible candidate as he has his first degree in Economics from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and his master’s degree from the University of Abuja while his doctoral degree is still in view. He has a growing fan base in the Kogi central district of Kogi State where he is a cult figure.
